Build notes
Carbs are where a lot of bikes go wrong - and where a lot of shops give up. These banks were fully rebuilt: cleaned, re-jetted, and fitted with high-flow K&N filters.
Synced and dialed on the bike, the result is crisp throttle response and a clean idle - the kind of fueling that makes an older motor feel alive again.
Induction work is unglamorous and exacting. It's also the difference between a bike that runs and a bike that runs right.
"Get the fueling right and an old motor feels brand new."— Johnny Goodson
Every photo on this page is Johnny's own work, shot on the Phoenix shop floor.
